The Christopher Radko Company has been designing and producing fine European glass ornaments for more than 23 years. Headquartered in Gastonia, NC with offices and showrooms nationwide, the company creates giftware and home décor for purchase in over 2,500 stores, including major department stores, independent gift retailers as well as online retail sites.

There are 3 components to the Christopher Radko® brand: European mouth-blown glass ornaments, Home for the Holidays – a varied assortment of decorative tabletop & holiday trim accessories and Shiny-Brite™, a re-creation of the retro-Americana ornaments and decorations of the 40’s and 50’s.

Each year, approximately one-third of the Radko® ornaments are retired, thus enhancing their collectibility. With each passing year, demand for the earlier ornaments rises. “Partridge In a Pear Tree”, originally priced at $38.00, has sold on the secondary market for as much as $1,000.

The popularity of Christopher Radko ornaments stimulated the development of other Christopher Radko® holiday home décor. The Home for the Holidays collection, first introduced in 1996, has grown to include new categories including table top Santas, limited edition nutcrackers, needlepoint stockings and holiday trim. Shiny-Brite™ , first launched in November 2001, continues to expand on its collection of vintage 1940s-themed lighting, decorative accessories and ornaments.

Each year, ornaments are selected for charitable fundraising efforts. This year’s Charity Awareness designs benefit AIDS, Alzheimer’s, Animal Rights Organizations, Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Breast Cancer, Diabetes, Heart Disease and Pediatric Cancer.
